The Financial Markets Institute (FMI) provides comprehensive training to a select group of highly motivated finance and accounting students at Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business. After joining the institute, student scholars pursue a challenging academic program aligned with their professional interests. Additionally, scholars are offered unique opportunities that include co-managing a multi-million dollar investment fund and visiting financial services firms across the U.S.
In partnership with campus and community, the Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement advances community engaged learning at Michigan State University and prepares students for lifelong civic and social responsibility in an increasingly diverse and complex global society.
The MSU Career Services Network Domestic and International Corporate Tours are unique experiential learning opportunities that bring students into actual global work environments. The Corporate Tours are two-week long encounters (non-academic credit) that expose students to a range of cities, countries, industries, work settings, and cultures while helping them develop professional skills, identify talents, clarify interests, strengthen teamwork competencies, and form friendships.
